Home/How we work
No black boxes

You will always know what happens next.

Our process is clear enough to trust and flexible enough to fit the way your organisation actually works—including its approvals, its finance calendar and its internal politics.

01

Listen first

We get beneath the brief to understand the people, the pressure, the purpose and the one thing success has to deliver. Most of this conversation is questions, and some of them will be uncomfortable—what happens if nobody comes, who has to approve the budget, what went wrong last time.

  • A written summary of the objective in one paragraph
  • The audience, in plain terms: who they are and why they would give you a day
  • The real budget range and the real decision timeline
  • The constraints nobody has said out loud yet
02

Shape the plan

A practical creative direction, a considered budget and a clear delivery map—before a single supplier is booked. You see the shape of the whole event on paper, with the costs attached, while changing it is still cheap.

  • Concept and programme structure with a run of show outline
  • Venue options with honest trade-offs, not just the nicest one
  • Line-by-line budget with what is fixed and what is still moving
  • A dated plan showing who decides what, and by when
03

Run every detail

Our team holds the moving parts: people, production, partners, timings and the tiny things guests notice. You get one point of contact, regular written updates and no surprises that we saw coming and did not mention.

  • Supplier contracting, briefing and quality checks
  • Technical rehearsals for anything that can fail live
  • Delegate communication, registration and helpdesk
  • Show calling on the day from a signed-off run of show
04

Leave it better

After the final applause we close the loop properly: reconciled costs, captured data, collected feedback and a debrief that includes what we would do differently. The next event should start from a stronger position than this one did.

  • Final cost reconciliation against the original budget
  • Attendance, engagement and feedback data
  • Photography, video and content handover
  • A written debrief, including the honest parts
Before you ask

How working with us usually goes

How soon do you need to be involved?

As early as the idea exists. The decisions that cost the most—format, venue, date and budget shape—are made in the first two weeks, and they are the hardest to reverse later. That said, we take on events at every stage, including ones already in motion.

What does a first conversation involve?

Usually thirty to forty-five minutes, no charge and no deck. You describe what you are planning; we ask questions and tell you what we think, including whether we are the right fit.

How do you charge?

It depends on the scope. Some work is a management fee against a defined scope, some is a percentage of the event budget, and some is a fixed project fee. We confirm the basis in writing before anything starts, and we do not take undisclosed commissions from suppliers.

What happens if something changes mid-planning?

Scope changes are normal. We price them, show you the impact on the timeline and let you decide—in writing, before the change happens, rather than in the final invoice.

Start with a question, not a brief.
